Rationale
 

Each person operating in a service industry must treat customers with respect, giving the best possible service. This includes all aspects of maintaining customer care and dealing with complaints and incidents. This programme is intended for managers across service industries who are  responsible for monitoring customer service to a diverse range of local and foreign clients.

The content deals with good practice in customer service, achieving high levels of customer satisfaction, using effective customer retention and service recovery strategies. Learners who have successfully completed this programme will be an asset to any business.

 
Content: The required unit standards will be addressed i.e. Deal with Customers (US 14734; Level 5); Improve service to customers (US 7865; Level 5); Monitor customer satisfaction (Level 5); Contribute tot sustainable tourism in South Africa (Level 5).
Duration: 56 hours spread over six days
Attendees: Managers in the service industries
